The Journey

Life is short and we have never too much time for gladdening the hearts of those who are travelling the dark journey with us. Oh be swift to love, make haste to be kind.
From Pamplona to Puenta la Reina, the journey has many twists, highs and lows , and different terrain but each step is an opportunity. Faces slowly become familiar. Thousands make the trek and somehow connections are made as we share the path.
Tonight we find ourselves in Obanos, the result of a kindness from a stranger. It is a long weekend holiday here in Spain and accomodations are difficult to find. However, Jacinta connected with a man who helped us find a place to sleep.
Writing this I am reminded of the power and joy of connecting.
